Most people don’t walk in the room thinking about competing, but they try this thing called Ballroom and find that its a great way to exercise, is super fun and want to explore how to get really good at it. From there they maybe try a Showcase, they learn a particular dance to a particular song and they find they love getting out on the floor. Then, you have an opportunity to Ballroom test in front of an adjudicator who gives great tips about your dancing, what you are amazing at and what needs improvement. Next, you go to a competition as a spectator, see the dresses, the make up and all that goes with it and next thing ya know……You become a competitor! It’s super fun, teaches you a lot about yourself and it’s really cool to say you complete in Ballroom! But it all starts with a dance class!
Options to compete in: American Style Smooth, American Rhythm, International Standard, International Latin & Club
All levels welcome. No audition just a willingness to be open to learning a new skill. Teaches a great work ethic, dedication, teamwork….and lots of dance steps!
Competitive Classes runs year round. Several performance opportunities throughout the year.
